DJ4321, your art seems ok... but to make art really stand out, focus on having Chiaroscuro effects and color tones. For example, if a guy is wearing a blue shirt, it should not be very blue. The saturation depends on the material. Clothes and matte stuff have low saturation, but plastics have higher.
And also: shadows, shading, highlights, reflection.
Unless of course, your main objective is to draw just simple cartoons and cliparts.

funny you should ask that, I'm deleting my previous work here so I have room for new submissions....
I am doing mainly clip art currently but I will try to do more... realistic sketches later on.
